A payment provider plugin for Pretix that integrates the Eupago payment gateway, allowing event organizers in Portugal to accept Multibanco and MB WAY payments directly during checkout. Eupago is a Portuguese payment institution offering payment methods including Multibanco references and MB WAY.

Why I built it

Pretix is one of the best open-source event ticketing platforms available, but it didn't include native support for Eupago, one of Portugal's most popular payment gateways.

For organizations running self-hosted Pretix instances, this meant relying on international payment providers or developing a custom integration.

I created this plugin to provide a seamless payment experience for Portuguese customers while keeping the entire ticketing platform self-hosted and open source.

Usage
# Install the plugin
pip install pretix-eupago

# Enable it in Pretix
Settings > Payment Providers > Eupago

# Configure your credentials in the plugin settings
API Key, Environment (sandbox or production) and Webhook Secret

# Customers can now pay using Multibanco or MB WAY
